Mike & Brenda Winsborough are the co-founders of Winsborough Construction, Inc., a thriving home-building and remodeling business nestled in the scenic Hill Country of Texas. Their story began back in Marble Falls High School, where they first crossed paths, leading to a love-filled marriage in 1982—a bond they've cherished ever since.
Mike & Brenda's journey took a patriotic turn after marrying, as he proudly served in the United States Air Force for ten adventurous years. Mike's military commitment and duties led them to travel the world to many different and exciting locations like Canada, South Korea, The Netherlands, England, Germany, Panama, Saudi Arabia, and various spots across the U.S. During this time, their family grew with the arrival of two wonderful children, John and Matt.
In 1992, the couple made a life-changing decision, returning to their hometown and entering the civilian workforce. Mike joined forces with Brenda's father's home-building business, and his dedication and expertise quickly earned him an equal partnership within two years.
However, Mike's entrepreneurial spirit soared, leading him to establish his own company in 1998, focusing on painting high-end custom homes and providing top-notch remodeling services.
Later, Mike embraced a significant opportunity to become a Project Manager for one of the area's leading home-building and remodeling companies. In this role, he skillfully managed the Design/Build processes for high-end custom homes and remodeling projects, utilizing cutting-edge architectural design software to create stunning custom homes while efficiently managing various ongoing projects.
Driven by their commitment to professionalism and exceptional service, Mike and Brenda co-founded Texas Remodeling Systems in 2008, specializing in home remodeling, additions, and related services. Mike furthered his expertise through accredited classes and prestigious designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), including; - CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler), - CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist), - CGP (Certified Green Professional), - GMR (Graduate Master Remodeler), - GMB (Graduate Master Builder)
The dedication to continuous education was instilled in the family as John and Matt joined Mike and Brenda in the business, eventually becoming full and equal partners. Together, they seized new opportunities, leading them to shift their focus primarily to building new custom homes. This transformation prompted the creation of their new and incorporated company—Winsborough Construction, Inc., where Brenda is the Treasurer and oversees the accounting and office administration operations, and Mike is President and manages the construction side of the business.
Beyond their professional endeavors, Mike & Brenda cherish the moments they spend with their loved ones. Brenda delights them with her culinary skills, finding joy in creating delicious meals for her family and friends and fostering meaningful connections through the art of cooking. During her leisure time, Brenda indulges in her passion for reading and crafting. These hobbies allow her to unwind and explore her creative side. She believes in lifelong learning and strives to expand her knowledge in various domains.
Under their steadfast leadership and with the unwavering support of the Winsborough family, Winsborough Construction, Inc. continues to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, turning homeowners' dreams into reality and leaving an enduring legacy in the industry.
